YUM! This was my first time here. I had the Spicy Thai Basil Chicken. Delicious and has a great kick. The young man who took my order made the recommendation and was knowledgeable about the menu. Gluten free options are clearly labeled, too. Tables and booths were clean. The woman bussing tables was very attentive and sweet :) Will be back.

AMAZING experience at Ling's Wok Shop! The restaurant hosted a fundraising event for us last night to benefit the American Heart Association, in memory of our mom. From start to finish, everything was fantastic! Vito, Gracie, Ella and Justin were all incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful to our guests. The food was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean. Thank you all so much for a wonderful night and for supporting this cause, our family, and the community. This is going to become one of our new favorite spots in the Scottsdale area and we are going to tell all our friends!

Superb local restaurant. Has good value food. We like the bar and the professional friendly staff. The best part is that you can get food as spicy as you want. We will continue to dine here.

Dang it!! Another disappointing performance by Ling's. My last review was a while ago- and, I had an email offering Take Out Tuesday discount!! Why not?? The place was empty when I picked it up- not unusual (it was 2:30) - the staff was pretty casual and just handed it off to me. I was so excited to eat when getting home- but, was disappointed by the lackluster taste- some dishes were over spiced with ginger. And, frankly one dish tasted like it was a frozen PH Chang's dish. Very processed taste and feel to the meat. Hence, why I write several reviews for one establishment- it's easy to be Hot & Now early on- but, is that energy & drive still there years later? Apparently, Ling's has gone into that category- the owner/management needs a Refresh and some enthusiasm needs to be infused to what once was a great place-now sadly Marginal.

Excellent high quality restaurant nearby our hotel. Dropped in yesterday afternoon and was delighted with the customer service and options. However I will warn diners that we were not warned how spicy our orders were beforehand. My Dan Dan noodles was delicious but a bit spicy for me and I wasn't able to finish it. The same for my spouse's choice of Thai Chicken dish and he is Latino and can handle spicy food! So enjoy but know that I assume it is all spicy!

GREAT KIDS MEALS!! Went in for happy hour and it wasn't busy at all. Our server was attentive. We ordered: Black Orchid Ahi, Korean Cauliflower, Kids Mandarin. Everything was tasty. The kids menu has the best value. They seem close to a lunch portion but you also get a side such as edamame. Overall, great food.

We went on Father's Day and there was a special where dads ate free - love that promotion! We didn't find out until it was too late to make a reservation so we sat outside. The inside is quite small, there are maybe 8 tables total some of which are just two tops. The outside is not ideal for summer - the shade only goes halfway down and only in a few parts of the perimeter. There are only two misters and on opposite sides of the patio. If you go for dinner, like 5:45-7pm, there is sun everywhere. There was a little breeze so it was fine enough but definitely sweating a little. I had the mandarin chicken and it was the first time I've been able to have a crispy orange chicken dish that's gluten free, so I very much appreciated it! There was a good amount of chicken. It was a sweeter dish so some more umami would've been nice but overall I enjoyed my food. My parents both got the miso salmon. My mom liked it more than my dad but my dad is a harsh critic. I tried a bite and thought it had good flavor. My sister got the spicy Thai basil dish with tofu - I tried it.... Way too spicy for me. My sister likes spicy and thought it was the perfect spice at first but then had to stop eating it half way through because it got too spicy! But she enjoyed it overall. The service was a little slow but maybe we noticed it more because we were a little hot. Friendly staff though! Overall, the food was pretty good and if we were inside I think the experience would have been more enjoyable - and that's on us for not having a reservation!
